Congrats Katie + Justin! This Big Sky Montana wedding was epic. Not one, but 2 days. Everyone was invited for the welcome party the night before even this girl. I met Katie and Justin 4-5 years ago and Katie told me the day I met he “I am getting married.” I thought,“Oh awesome! When?” Her answer was so Katie, “Well, I don’t have the ring yet.” Of course she was dating Justin then and couldn’t wait to marry him. I have seldom met a bride so determined to marry the man of their dreams and Justin was it. A few years later and here we are. I was beyond flattered to photograph their wedding day. It was everything that they are, family + friends, a fabulously stylish event and big damn party. I crashed out fairly early as we were working all day but I heard the music go on all night. These two are so blessed to have wonderful family on both sides and they naturally attract so many great friends. Here is a little snippet of the day as I can never share all the photos here. ENJOY!
The Rainbow Ranch, Big Sky Montana
Is one of my favorite event venues in Big Sky and the Bozeman area. I believe the saying goes rustic but civilized? So, appropriate. Luxury rooms, amazing staff and food. This place has it all. As I am usually working there and not a guest, I jumped at the chance to stay there for 2 nights for the event. It was so lovely waking up that sunny morning and opening the door to my deck off the river. Simply heaven, and we didn’t want to leave. Check out this decent iphone photo, not bad for HDR.
